Eid al-Fitr (Celebration of Breaking the Fast)

1 Shawwal 1447 | ١ شوال ١٤٤٧

As the sun rises on the first of Shawwal, the sadness of bidding farewell to Ramadan is mixed with the joy of Eid. This day is a spiritual triumph—a celebration for those who fasted and stood in prayer, hoping for Allah’s reward. Before the prayer, we purify our fasts through Zakat al-Fitr, ensuring that no home is without food today. It is a day of Takbir, new clothes, brotherhood, and mending ties. We celebrate not because the worship is over, but because we have been granted the strength to obey. Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum (May Allah accept from us and from you).
