Mawlid un-Nabi (Birth of the Prophet)

In this month, we reflect on the arrival of the Mercy to the Worlds (Rahmatan lil-‘Alamin). The birth of the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) signaled the end of the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) and the dawn of guidance. While we strive to follow his Sunnah every single breath of our lives, this occasion serves as a heightened reminder to study his Seerah, to send abundant Salawat upon him, and to instill the deep love of the Messenger in the hearts of our children. He is our intercessor, our guide, and the perfection of human character.
