Start of Ramadan Mubarak

The Sultan of Months has arrived! We welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, the month in which the Quran Karim was revealed as a guidance for mankind. This is not merely a time of abstaining from food and drink, but a spiritual boot camp designed to cultivate Taqwa (God-consciousness). The gates of Jannah are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed, and the devils are chained. It is a time to revive our relationship with the Book of Allah, to feed the hungry, and to purify our souls. May Allah allow us to reach Ramadan and accept our fasting, Qyam, and Soujoud.
